It’s easy to give your logos, type and graphics a 3D look using the Extrude and Bevel Tools in Adobe Illustrator. Here is another longer tutorial explaining how to go about just that, plus learn how to give it a gold, silver, copper and any other metallic-looking surface. There are metal gradients built in to the Illustrator Swatches which makes it even easier.
