Replicate the Background in Photoshop Using the Content Aware Tool

Sometimes you just need more room in a photo for bleed or to add text without it looking too crammed in the photo. This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to make up parts of the background that were never there in the original. We will be using the Content Aware Tool. After increasing the size of your canvas (Image > Canvas Size), try to select as little of the main items in the photograph as possible, because Photoshop will blend your selection into what it thinks is a good imitation of your background. Do you want to learn how to remove objects from a photo completely? Check out this tutorial: Remove Objects in Photoshop using the Content Aware Tool.
